If you’re on a budget in 2024, you’re going to love the dupes for Prada’s Paradoxe perfume that I’ve just found. The designer scent dropped in 2022 and Prada pulled out all the stops for the launch, signing Emma Watson to not only star in the perfume’s campaign but also to make her directorial debut with a short film. As expected, fans went wild for the luxury scent (myself included) that comes in a triangle-shaped bottle to emulate Prada’s logo.

I bought a bottle as soon as it dropped (you can read my review of Prada Paradoxe if you’re interested), but now I’ve run out, I’m wondering what I should replace it with. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it but at £65 for 30ml, I’ve been wondering if I could find a cheaper alternative. There are so many good dupes out there, I knew there had to be one or two for Prada’s newest scent.

Prada’s Paradoxe Eau de Parfum is great for those looking for a sweet, feminine fragrance. I bought this when it dropped in 2022 and it’s lasted me well. I usually wear it during the daytime, and while some might not like its sweetness, I’ve always been a fan of such scents. Paradoxe has top notes of pear, tangerine and bergamot, middle notes of orange blossom, neroli essence and jasmine sambac, and base notes of bourbon vanilla, amber, white musk and benzoin.

The Dupe: Zara Sublime Epoque Eau de Parfum

Zara’s Sublime Epoque is a well-known dupe for My Way by Giorgio Armani, but it’s also been likened to Prada’s Paradoxe by TikTokers as both scents smell seriously sweet. Sublime Epoque has floral notes of jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom, bergamot, vanilla and cedar, while Prada’s offers similar notes of bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine sambac and vanilla.

Ok, so it’s not that much cheaper than Prada’s Paradoxe but Valentino’s Born in Roma Donna Eau de Parfum has drawn similarities to the designer scent. Both scents share similar notes of bergamot, jasmine and bourbon vanilla, offering a slightly similar smell. That said, Born in Roma also has notes of blackcurrant, giving the scent a slightly fruity aroma.

The Dupe: The Dua Brand Enigmoxe

If you’re looking for something exactly like Prada’s Paradoxe, give The Dua Brand’s Enigmoxe scent a go. This regularly sells out and it’s no surprise, considering this is an exact dupe of Paradoxe. TikTokers have been raving about it, with one commenting, “omg put it in the Prada container and nobody will ever know.”

The Dupe: Milestone Before Paradise

We all know how good ALDI’s perfume dupes are, but did you know that the budget supermarket has a dupe for Prada’s Paradoxe too? Prism sold out soon after it dropped in December 2023, but you can still buy it on eBay for a fraction of the cost of the original fragrance.
