How can you get a glimpse of the Paris Fashion Week magic without a plane ticket to Paris?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the looks from season 3 of Emily in Paris… but I’m ready for the real deal: Dries Van Noten, The Row, Acne, Balmain, Givenchy, Chloé and many more luxury designers.
If you aren’t a magazine editor or fashion buyer, how can you watch the shows?

How do you get invited to Fashion Week?
Just like other Fashion Weeks, the one held in Paris requires an invitation to attend.
You can get one directly from the team of the designer whose show you want to attend (but this means you need to know them, of course).
Or you can also have yourself accredited as a fashion industry leader. If you’re a buyer, photographer or journalist, you can apply through the PFW website.
Aside from being able to catch and document the shows, being accredited now has an additional perk: NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
In 2021, the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (the organisation that holds PFW) partnered with blockchain specialist Arianee to offer select accredited guests their own NFTs, according to WWD.
Is Paris Fashion Week 2024 open to the public?
The bad news is many of the shows are still by invitation only, but the good news is that PFW is also going phygital (a mix of physical and digital) this year, so there are still some shows we can catch at home.
The schedule for the upcoming shows has already been released, and I’m pleased to share that so many of the shows will be released digitally.

When is Paris Fashion Week 2024?
Paris Fashion Week takes place from February 26 – March 5 this year, when the AW24 collections will be presented.
This is the last Fashion Week to take place, following on from New York, London, and Paris.
What are the rules for Paris Fashion Week?
Haute Couture brands must present 35 hand-crafted looks each year, while Ready-to-Wear brands need to be commercially viable and presented during specific dates.
All participants follow additional rules like scheduled shows and ethical guidelines, making the event a blend of creativity and strict standards.
