How to get into London Fashion Week
In normal circumstances, you need to be invited to attend LFW. If you’re an industry insider, influencer or blogger, you can apply for accreditation by heading to the LFW website, finding the relevant designer’s press contact and emailing them clearly explaining why you should attend. Applying early is recommended to avoid disappointment. If you don’t have a connection to the fashion industry, it’s unlikely you’ll be allocated a ticket, as the event is how many industry experts and buyers forecast trends and plan collections for the season ahead.
London Fashion Week is a physical event held by the British Fashion Council (BFC). The main hub of activity is held at Somerset House, and various shows are held at different locations across the British capital. However, many Fashion Week shows are live-streamed online due to the changes introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This has also been the case for Paris, Milan and New York Fashion Week and smaller events such as Copenhagen Fashion Week. This means that anyone can tune into the shows, even if you don’t work in the industry. Read more about how to watch LFW 2024 here.
Can you buy tickets to London Fashion Week?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to buy tickets to fashion shows at LFW. There was an event in LFW open to the public back in 2020, the London Fashion Week Festival. The LFW festival was a ticketed event, so you get a chance to watch catwalk shows, industry talks, and more. Unfortunately, it was cancelled. But it’s not all bad news; there are a number of talks, events and exhibitions that happen around the time of LFW each season, so keep your eyes peeled on sites like Eventbrite to find out more. We recommend tuning into the shows at home too.
Is London Fashion Week twice a year?
LFW is held twice a year in February and September, when fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals alike flock to London to witness the latest fashion innovations. A smaller Fashion Week is also held in June, when up and coming designers who have recently graduated showcase their work to industry experts. You can read more about fashion seasons here.
When is London Fashion Week 2024?
London Fashion Week has been confirmed for February 15 – February 20, 2024, when the designers will be presenting their AW24 collections. Following this, the next LFW will take place in September and will see SS25 collections being presented.

Will London Fashion Week Festival be held?
London Fashion Week Festival was integrated into the regular London Fashion Week combining both menswear and womenswear into a 10-day hybrid event, happening twice a year (February and September).
The current integrated format doesn’t require additional festival-specific tickets. You can access catwalk shows, presentations, and industry talks with the standard London Fashion Week tickets, with varying prices depending on access level and individual events.
While specific schedules and venues haven’t been officially announced yet, you can stay updated on the London Fashion Week website for confirmations as they roll out closer to the event.
