Best ASOS Sports Leggings 2024 15 Pairs So Comfy, You’ll Never Want to Take Them off
Plus what to look for when buying gym leggings.
It’s official I’ve found the best leggings on ASOS. If you search ASOS for women’s leggings, you’re presented with over 2,000 pairs from brands like Nike, adidas, puma, Stradivarius and so many more brands, it can feel overwhelming. To take the stress out of finding workout leggings, I’ve looked through all 2,140 styles that are on ASOS right now and I’m sharing a selection of the best styles I’ve found so you don’t have to.
If you’re on the hunt for leggings, you’re probably likely to hit up your favourite activewear brand first, like Lululemon or Sweaty Betty. I adore those brands, but it’s always good to try new things and ASOS has so many in one place. Whether you’re into classic black leggings, bold prints or colourful styles, ASOS truly does have something for everyone.
As for me, I always look for quality when it comes to leggings. Must-haves are moisture-wicking fabric, compression support, seamless construction and of course, they have to be squat-proof. It’s a bonus if they’re bum-sculpting too.
So let’s take a look at the best leggings I’ve found. If you’re on the hunt for something a little more glamorous, here’s our edit of the best H&M leggings as well as the best running leggings with pockets

How to buy good quality leggings
If you’re planning to invest in a pair, there are a few things to look out for. Leggings come in a range of fabrics, such as cotton, polyester, spandex, and nylon. The ideal fabric choice for you will depend on your individual preferences and requirements, but I can offer a few pearls of wisdom.
Cotton leggings are known for their softness and comfort. Plus point: they offer a cosy and breathable feel against the skin, but cotton leggings may not be as durable as other fabrics and can potentially lose their shape over time. Spandex and nylon meanwhile are great for their excellent stretch and flexibility. Leggings with a high spandex or nylon content provide a snug and comfortable fit, allowing for a wide range of movement.
Sweat-wicking materials are ideal if you’re planning to wear them for an intense workout, but if you’re looking for yoga pants, this might not be so important. You might also want to consider other features, like waistbands that hold in the stomach, bum-sculpting styles and my personal favourite pockets.
Are ASOS gym leggings good?
ASOS carries a variety of popular brands for leggings, including their own fitness brand ASOS 4505 as well as Puma, Under Armour, adidas, TALA, Nike and many more dedicated activewear brands that offer high-quality athletic leggings that truly don’t compare to high street styles. That’s because their sports leggings are designed with fitness in mind, while cheaper brands prioritise affordability.
That’s not to say cheaper brands leggings aren’t good, but they might not last as long or be as comfortable to do your HIIT workout in.
