In my personal experience, Other Stories is true to size. I’ve got plenty of pieces from the brand in my wardrobe including dresses, jeans, jumpsuits and jumpers, all of which I bought in my regular size (UK size 10). I went into the store recently to check their sizes and this is what I found.

Firstly, I tried on this amazing Sindiso Khumalo dress from the brand in a size 36, which translates to a UK size 10. I found it to be the perfect fit! I also have a jumper dress and shirt dress from the brand in this size and they both fit like a glove.

Next, I tried on this cute pink sweater in a size M. This fit me really well. If you have big boobs, I’d recommend sizing up though!

Jeans

I tried on a pair of Stories jeans in a size 28, which is my regular size and fits me as a size 10 really well. I have quite a small waist compared to my thighs, so I find jeans really tricky but I was happy with how these fit. I have another pair at home in the same size that do feel quite tight on the thighs, but I think it depends on your figure and the style of the jeans.

Tops

I tried on another top from the brand that was on the snug side, this time in a size S. This is obviously meant to be tight-fitting, so I’d happily have bought this size too but could have afforded to get a size M.

Conclusion

After trying on a few things in Other Stories, I can confidently say that the brand runs true to size. The fit of each item will depend on your shape and the style of clothes you like to wear. If you regularly wear oversized fits, you can afford to go a size up. I’d also recommend going up a size if you have big boobs.
