How to cancel your ASOS order
You’re in luck! Cancelling your ASOS order is done in two easy steps:
1. Log into My Account, then click on My Orders to view your recent orders.
2. Click on the Cancel/View button next to your order.
If you won’t be able to see the Cancel/View button anymore, that means you can’t cancel your order anymore. But the good news is, you can still return it for a refund once you have received it. Find out how returns work at ASOS here.
Also, while ASOS won’t charge you for anything when you cancel your order, it may be possible that your payment provider may have reserved your funds. In that case, you must wait up to 10 working days for your funds to be available.
How long do I have to cancel my order?
When you can cancel depends on what delivery option you have chosen.
- Next-Day Delivery, Evening-Next Day Delivery, and ASOS Instant – 15 minutes after completing your order.
- Nominated Day Delivery – up to 2 days before your chosen delivery date.
- Standard Delivery – 60 minutes after completing your order.
- ASOS No Hurry Delivery – 30 minutes after completing your order.
- Items sold and shipped by an ASOS Brand Partner – 10 minutes after completing your order.
According to the above, opting for Nominated Day Delivery seems to be the best option for those who want to cancel while Next Day delivery leaves you a mere 15 minutes to cancel.
What if I miss the cut-off time?
If you’re not able to cancel your order, then don’t panic. You can still get a refund so long as you’re within 14 days of making the initial order it just takes a few more steps.
If you’re within that window you can expect a full refund as well as standard shipping cost if you’ve opted for that delivery method.
If you’ve paid for faster delivery, this will not be covered. For example, if you have paid £5 for delivery but standard delivery is £3, then under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you’ll only get back £3, as the remaining £2 is not covered under this legislation.
Make sure that you return an item with the original tags on them. However, it does not need to be in the original packaging. But when you return an item sold and shipped by an ASOS Brand Partner, the original tag, labels, and packaging must be complete.
Finally, ASOS want written confirmation of your decision to cancel the order if you’ve missed the chance of cancelling via the website. Simply contact them (in writing) saying you want to cancel / get a refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To cancel your order, you’ll need to do it within 14 days of ordering your products. If you do this, you’ll then be issued a full refund for the cost of the items ordered and the cost of standard delivery if you have paid for shipping.

Can I cancel one item from my ASOS order?
No, if you’re going to cancel an order, it will be everything in it. So, if there’s one specific item you no longer want, you can always return it for a refund after receiving them.
Is ASOS refund free?
As long as an item is still in its original condition, ASOS accepts returns for free, as long as you return an item within 28 days. But if you return an item more than the given time period, ASOS will send it back to you and possibly ask you to cover delivery costs.
You’ll receive your refund within 14 days and will be issued to your original payment method.
