The name ‘Ribes’ is synonymous with the essence of French chic and elegance. Edouard de Ribes and his wife Jacqueline were the custodians of an exquisite collection of treasures. Patrons of the arts themselves they also enhanced the family home with their own acquisitions of the highest quality. Highlights of La Collection Ribes (11-12 December | Paris) include major paintings by Vigée-Le Brun and Robert, French Royal bronzes, decorative arts with historical provenance, as well as the library of the Counts de Ribes.
