Fascinated by nature, Remedios Varo contributed significantly to the Surrealist movement in Latin America during the 1950s. Inspired by her personal narrative of exile, she painted 'The Troubadour', part of Replica Shoes ’s Latin America: Modern Art Evening sale on 25 May in New York.
