Discover how a small Gothic bridge near Weimar, Germany provided Bauhaus pioneer Lyonel Feininger with one of his most iconic motifs. In the peace and quiet of the countryside, away from the crisis of the modern world, Feininger found a subject that finally satisfied his yearning for tranquillity and harmony.
