Throughout his prolific career, the Italian designer Carlo Mollino sought to create works of art in a category all their own. "Everything is permissible as long as it is fantastic", he proclaimed, and perhaps no single instance of his work embodies this audacious ethos more than his 1950 Dining Table. In this video, Jodi Pollack is joined by Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari, co-founders of the Museo Casa Mollino, in an exploration of Carlo Mollino’s exceptional design via this outstanding table, which will be offered as a highlight of Replica Shoes ’s Contemporary Art Evening Auction.
