The collects ion includes an extraordinary 1947 portrait of Francis Ponge- Jubilation, estimated at 5 to 7 million euros, last exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in 2001 and which gives its name to the collects ion.
Drawn from the world's most prestigious collects ions and galleries, this ensemble covers the first four decades of Dubuffet's creative career, in dialogue with two of Fontana's rarest sculptures.
This auction will take place in Paris on October 18, 2024.
