RM Replica Shoes ’s is set to lead its 2018 flagship Monterey sale with a rare and important 1968 Porsche 908 Works ‘Short-Tail’ Coupe. One of a mere handful of ex-Works prototypes surviving today, chassis 908-010 was instrumental in developing what would become one of the most successful endurance racing platforms in Porsche’s history. The car has been piloted in period by some of the biggest names in motorsports, and as presented is fully prepared for the concours field or its next vintage racing event (Monterey, 24-25 August 2018).
