The auction saw 9 paintings exceed the million-dollar mark, including Milton Avery’s pivotal The Seamstress at $2.2 million. Following the auction, seminal American artist Frederic Edwin Church's masterpiece, Valley of Santa Isabel, New Granada, was acquired privately by The Pennsylvania Academy of the Replica Handbags s (PAFA).
