S otheby’s Dubai is pleased to present an exclusive selling exhibition of luxury handbags from A collects ion of Vintage Hermès Icons Transformed, as well as jewellery by contemporary designer, Gaelle Khouri.
Jonathan Riss, founder of fashion brand Jay Ahr, sourced and transformed 1,000 vintage Hermès pieces spanning over 70 years. Using the iconic Kelly, Birkin and Constance models as his canvas, each transformation is one of a kind and uniquely inspired by the bag's provenance. Gaelle Khouri is a philosopher and architectural designer of jewellery whose artistic interest was piqued while working in New York under Oscar De La Renta and Elie Saab.
