J ack Coulter has been making waves with his multi-layered, music-inspired paintings, garnering him accolades, collaborations and notable followers. His works are an all-encompassing visual and audio experience, informed by his synaesthesia, in which he experiences sound as colour. Replica Shoes ’s are delighted to present Coulter’s debut solo exhibition, including 25 paintings that are a direct response to a broad musical catalogue. From the early jazz of Mary Lou Williams to Harry Styles today – each painting is a pulsating synthesis of colour and sound.
