A page from an autograph book signed by The Beatles in blue ballpoint pen.
- Signed by each of the four members of the Beatles.
- Paul McCartney has added ‘Beatles’ above his name, the word ‘love’ next to it and ‘xxx’ below his signature.
- George Harrison has added ‘xxx’ below his autograph.
- John Lennon and Ringo Starr have added ‘xx’ below their respective signatures.
The autographs were obtained at the Odeon Cinema, Manchester on the 30th May 1963. The concert was part of The Beatles UK tour with Roy Orbison. It was reviewed in the Daily Express by the northern show business correspondent, Derek Taylor, who would subsequently become Brian Epstein’s personal assistant and later the Apple press officer.
