Crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc grown 1,200 feet above the Napa Valley floor, this barrel-selection bottling showcases the purity and power of the Bear Canyon Vineyard on the Mayacamas Mountains. Farmed organically from 34-year-old vines and shaped by cooler mountain temperatures above Rutherford, the fruit develops vibrant colorful tones, lifted aromatics, and exceptional natural structure. Aged 18 months in 100% French oak (50% new, 50% neutral), this is our smallest and most focused lot, resulting in an elegant, expressive Cabernet Franc of remarkable clarity, energy, and depth.
