Doris Brynner maintained close ties with the world of French haute couture. She was part of the social and glamorous circle surrounding Hubert de Givenchy, the internationally renowned couturier, and collaborator and friend of Audrey Hepburn.

This proximity was reflected in her attendance at events, openings, and soirées hosted by the house of Givenchy, highlighting the influence of fashion and cinema circles on the cultural and artistic life of the time. Their relationship illustrates the intimacy between the worlds of cinema and haute couture during the 1950s to 1970s.
