60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. In 2020, an utterly compelling, intriguing, orange zests and spices nose. Gloriously full on the palate, with oranges, brioche and biscuit. Creamy and saline, with that lovely briney Bollinger sign-off. Absolute proof of this great family house at its apogee. Another bottle showed a glorious wave of almost marine intensity on the nose - so Bollinger! Sweetness and saltiness in that magical combination. Such salty splendour on the palate, ripe, rich and totally harmonious, plus profundity, complexity and pure seduction. The fruit is magnificent, the composition perfect. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
