Launched in 2007, the Ballon Bleu de Cartier introduced a modern design to Cartier’s watch collects ion. Its name, meaning “Blue Balloon,” refers to the blue sapphire cabochon crown, which appears set within a protective arch.
With its rounded case, the Ballon Bleu differs from Cartier’s well-known rectangular designs such as the Tank and Santos. This distinctive shape also contributes to its comfortable fit on the wrist, making it suitable for everyday wear.
