The Pasha de Cartier collects ion was introduced in 1985, following a design attributed to Gérald Genta that captured the bold, hedonistic spirit of the 1980s. The collects ion’s evocative name pays homage to Pasha Thami El Glaoui of Marrakesh, an equally flamboyant figure and a loyal Cartier client and collects or between the 1920s and 1950s.
Reflecting Cartier’s long-standing affinity for unconventional forms, the Pasha was conceived around the concept of a “square within a circle.” Its design is distinguished by a cabochon-capped crown protected by a screw-down cover, secured by a delicate chain, an instantly recognizable hallmark of the model.
