Consigned by the family of the original owner and preserved in exceptionally original condition, the present Audemars Piguet ultra-thin pocket watch represents the finest of 1930s style and horology. Following the First World War and the beginning of wristwatch proliferation, Switzerland’s top manufactures focused on pocket watch designs that were elegant, sophisticated, and ultra-thin as opposed to robust or utilitarian.

Rendered in 18k white gold, the design of this pocket watch is extraordinary. The Art Deco stylized numerals on the dial are completely rendered in engraved enamel, as are the tracks and signature. Reading “Audemars Piguet & Co. Brassus & Geneve,” the present dial signature is uncommon and speaks to the originality of the watch. The heat-blued Cathedral hands complete the look.
