opening with a side drawer, decorated with wide fluting, on tapered legs, with a gilt-tooled black Moroccan leather, stamped P. DENIZOT, with a fire mark of the Count of Artois’ Garde-Meuble, and a fire mark “B” for the Bagatelle residence

Delivered in 1778 for the apartment of the Comte d’Artois, future Charles X, King of France, at the Pavillon de Bagatelle;
