Collection of Stephen Junkunc, III (d. 1978).

See a closely related jar, previously in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herzman, now in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indianapolis (accession no. 1984.298); another, previously in the Carl Kempe Collection, illustrated in Bo Gyllensvärd, Chinese Ceramics in the Carl Kempe Collection, Stockholm, 1964, pl. 276, and sold in our London rooms, 14th May 2008, lot 246.
