Description
Old Rip Van Winkle Old Advocate Special Reserve 15 Year Old 107 Proof NV (Signed Bottle)
Old Advocate Special Reserve, bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, Lawrenceberg, Kentucky, purveryors: Messers. Hanselman, Henrickson, Hext, Patton and Weithe
This bottle has been signed by Julian Van Winkle III specially for The Great American Whiskey Collection
The Old Advocate 15 Year Old was done by Julian Van Winkle III as a private label for a syndicate of six lawyers in Cincinnati, Ohio. Having first met them at a liquor store tasting, he agreed to sell them a single barrel which was originally due to be 10-12 years old. Because the bottling took so long, it ended up being a 15 Year Old whiskey, bottled at 107 Proof (the same as the regular 15 Year Old in squat bottle). This bottle is extremely rare and makes its auction debut as part of The Great American Whiskey Collection.
1 bottle 75cl (no original packaging)
