The present vase is one of the finest and rarest examples from the Wanli period. Although similar zun-form examples are known, wucai vases with flanges like the current one remain absent. 本件出戟尊屬萬曆時期最為精罕之代表作。雖仿古尊器形已有先例,然如本品般帶棱脊之五彩花瓶,存世罕見。可資比照者,惟見北京故宮博物院藏一青花相近例,見《故宮博物院藏文物珍品大系·青花釉裏紅(中)》,上海,2000年,圖版171,然無棱脊裝飾。另可比較萬野美術館舊藏一例,釋於香港佳士得2002年10月28日,編號534。
