Among Patek Philippe’s most celebrated complications, the World Time has fascinated collectors since the 1930s. Introduced in 2000, the Reference 5110 marked the brand’s first serially produced world time model, featuring the automatic calibre 240 HU movement, a patented time zone pusher at 11 o’clock, and a finely guilloché dial. Inspired by the classic ref. 2523 yet enlarged to 37 mm, the 5110 was offered in yellow, pink, and white gold, as well as platinum, before its discontinuation in 2006.
