Please note that a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives has been ordered for this watch.
The first wristwatches produced by Patek Philippe represented a period of experimentation in both design and proportion. In this example, the crown is positioned at 12 o’clock—an uncommon placement reflecting the brand’s early exploration of form and usually the placement for pocket watches. The elegant platinum case, made by Weber & Cie of Geneva for Patek Philippe, features a striking two-tone platinum and pink gold bezel, an Art Deco–style dial, and distinct hooded lugs. At 30 mm in diameter, the watch may seem modest by today’s standards, yet the hinged lugs extend its overall length to nearly 40 mm, giving it an elegant, elongated profile.
