Featuring an emerald-cut Fancy Intense Yellow diamond weighing 18.18 carats, flanked by baguette and trapezoid-shaped diamonds, size 8½.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 6233738125 dated October 3, 2025 stating that the diamond is Fancy Intense Yellow, Natural color, VS1 clarity.
Accompanied by an FCRF Rarity Report.
This suite of jewels, stemming from an extensive collection belonging to a fourth generation Colorado mining family, reflects an appreciation for beautiful objects purely for the pleasure they bring, outside of any consideration for monetary value. Many of the jewels were given to mark special occasions and served as enduring symbols of happy moments shared with loved ones.
In addition to this unusually complete set of ‘Cheveux d’Ange’ jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels, there are two impressive step-cut rings, one set with an 18.18-carat Fancy Intense Yellow diamond (lot 126), the other with a 20.10-carat Burmese sapphire (lot 209).
