57% Pinot Noir, 43% Chardonnay. In 2022, and from magnum, the most remarkable, distinguished, floral, honied-hawthorn nose, with the lightest touch of vanillin. The fresh acidity and sheer joie de vivre on the palate is exuberant - and mega-exceptional. An explosion of lemon and apricot flavours, with terrific vinosity and unassailable class. A giant of a Cristal - and in magnum, from perfect storage, an absolute dream of a Champagne, exalted Cristal, even by its own standards. It just seems suspended in paradise. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
