Banded prior to inspection, in consecutive bottle numbers, excellent levels and general appearance, 1 bottle with defect of glass chipped inside capsule near the high neck position, French Domaine back labels

A real "undergrowth" nose, already quite evolved i.e. one could drink it. Quite a tawny taste, with toffee notes. Immediate charm and accessibility, but not a La Tâche to keep for years. Raspberry liqueur taste. And lovely freshness at the end. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Provenance

The vast majority of the wines were purchased from reputable wine merchants and auction houses, including Replica Shoes ’s. Full case Romanee Conti 1990 in its original wooden case was purchased and stored in Crown Wine Cellars since 2009 until transferred to Replica Shoes 's chamber for inspection. Property of a gentleman. Part of a much larger collection.
