the central panel depicting Saints Zinaida and Eugene with parcel-gilt robes and cloisonné enamel halos below the Iverskaya Mother of God, also with cloisonné enamel halos in shades of blue, red, white and green, the side panels depicting Saints Alexander Nevsky and St Nicholas, apparently unmarked, in a wooden kiot with presentation inscription dated 1899
height and length with kiot open: 37.5 x 47.9 cm; 14 6/8 x 18 7/8 in.

The presentation inscription on the kiot translates to: "To/for the respected Father Protoierus Evgeny Konstantinovich Smirnov, Priest of the Orthodox Church at the Imperial Russian Embassy In London" "To commemorate and honour the 25 years of his service as a priest, 21 April 1899, As a token of deep love and respect, From P.P. Sorokoumovsky, A.M. Mikhailov, P.A. Guskov, Moscow."
