Gifted by the couple to Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich;

The present lot was a joint purchase by Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna and her husband Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich on 8 December 1898 for 100 roubles (Ledger courtesy of Tatiana Fabergé).
