height 13 in. by width 17 in.


signed E McClintick lower left and Inocence lower right; housed in its original mahogany veneered frame with the white pine backboard inscribed This sampler was made in 1826. A label attached to the backboard is inscribed "Evelyn McClintock (1812-1896), wife of George Blymyer (1812-1894). They were the father and mother of Jerry S. Blymyer and therefore the grandparents of Bessie Blymyer Risser and the great- grandparents of Phares N. Risser Jr, Born 2/2/11. All three generations are buried in the Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, Pa."
