I think this is a candidate for decanting into one of those huge ballon-shaped Riedel carafes, as the great.mes aty character of the wine needs air to find all the explosive bouquet and flavour - it is even impressive the next day. The meatiness is something of a 1993 trait and this is complemented by the dense undergrowth and cherry tastes. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
