Michael Sheridan, Poul Kjaerholm: Furniture Architect, Denmark, 2006, pp. 48-49, 220

Exceedingly rare, the present chair stands out within the design work of Poul Kjaerholm. It is estimated that approximately less than ten of these chairs where made, one or two of which were painted. Decisively modernist in form, the piece makes molded aluminum the central focal point of the design, in a manner that is reminiscent of the work of other innovative designers and architects of his time, such as Jean Prouvé.
