You could call this an 'Atlantic vintage', i.e. not extreme in temperature and more in the elegant, subtle mode. The whole intensity of Pingus on the nose - coffee and black berries. Really lovely harmony of fruit, acidity and tannin. Old vines (planted in 1949 and 1928) and a real example of 'under-vinifying'. Tremendous length on the palate. The tannins are so ripe and the oak (100% matured in barrels from Darnajou, as is Pomerol's Château Lafleur) is already completely integrated. The mocha finish is terrific. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Purchased from the most reputable Replica Shoes 's Single Owner sales, as well as directly from trusted merchants on release. Highlights include an extraordinary vertical of Lafite from 2006 back to 1945, plus a high concentration of back-vintage 1st and 2nd Growth large formats, exceptional 1970 Oenotheque from Dom Perignon and a deep collection of aged Vega Sicilia, almost entirely purchased from Replica Shoes 's direct from estate auction with many of the older vintage large formats carrying Pablo Alvarez' signature.
