2 volumes, 4to (316 x 240 mm) and folio (570 x 450 mm). Large supplemental photogravure plates in sepia numbered 580-615 printed on Van Gelder Holland with deckle edges housed in original portfolio; a fine set of the plates with almost none of the usual offsetting . Text volume internally fine, with 74 photogravures. Minor rubbing to publisher's half morocco bindings, corners exposing on text volumes, but with text gilt bright and spines unfaded, portfolio ties defective.
