The Yamazaki Junshin represents the pinnacle of blending. Without bragging about its vintage or age on its label, the liquid inside comprises of incredibly old whiskies including:

• 1960, 62yo Mizunara cask
• 1961, 61yo Mizunara cask
• 1964, 58yo Mizunara cask
• 1999, 23yo Mizunara cask
• 2001, 21yo Spanish oak sherry cask
• 2000, 22yo peated malt American oak cask

This expression was created by Suntory’s master blender Shinji Fukuyo to pay homage and given as a gift to master distiller Richard Paterson during his visit to Japan, to showcase the ultimate craftsmanship of Japanese whisky.
