and historiated initials, early ink annotations to first volume. (Very minor foxing, minor dampstaining to lower margin in first volume, repair to verso of title-page of vol I.)
binding: Uniform nineteenth-century vellum (157 x 106 mm), spines with two morocco lettering-pieces, gilt decorated compartments, all edges gilt. (A few slight losses to lettering-pieces, some soiling to binding).
