21st/25th Dynasty, circa 1077-525 B.C.


in the form of the god Bes, standing on an rectangular base with his hands resting on his hips, nude but for a belt across his waist and panther skin over his shoulders and back, his lively bearded face with snub nose and monobrow, his hooded head with flat rim; together with a tapering bone applicator probably not belonging.

Height without applicator 6 cm.
