Commissioned directly from Peter Marino by the present owner, 2000

The present group of folding chairs, preceding dining table, and group of chairs are inspired by the dining room of French couturier Jeanne Lanvin’s legendary hôtel particulier at 16, Rue Barbet-de-Jouy in Paris, designed by Armand Albert Rateau. Embodying elegance and modernity, it's unsurprising that Sydell Miller gravitated towards works not only owned by the famed fashion designer but also inspired by her grand home.
