A collection of six robes and jackets:

a long Chinese robe of cream raw silk, circa 1910, the back hand-embroidered in blue, red, yellow and green silk with a four-clawed jewel-chasing air dragon, the front and patch pockets similarly embroidered, with belt attached to back, unlined, unlabelled; a long cream self-patterned silk robe, circa 1940s with black quilted satin curved lapels, cuffs and pockets, the back and front pockets machine-embroidered in red silk with a five-clawed jewel-chasing air dragon, fastening with two black satin padded buttons and a cream silk belt, with black satin lining, labelled ‘Made In China’; a black satin three-quarter length kimono hand-embroidered on the front either side ‘Queen’ in gold and silver thread, the back hand-embroidered in different shades of pink and green wool, gold thread and gold beads with cherry blossom and with adapted Chinese characters, unlined, unlabelled [this jacket probably made in China to look Japanese] a navy satin cropped jacket, the back machine-embroidered in white and gold with a dragon and tiger design, the front, sleeves and cuffs similarly embroidered, with two breast pockets, concealed button fasting to front [one button missing], unlined, unlabelled; a loose fitting open-front jacket of fine black silk printed around the lower half and sleeves with a pattern of stylized irises, carnations and foliage in shades of blue, orange and green, edged with a black and white patterned border, two slit pockets to front, unlined, unlabelled; a Balinese-style jacket of black cotton embroidered overall with a floral pattern in silver thread, unlined, unlabelled
