Certificate of Authenticity created in Guarda Veneta Italy.

Originally from Polesine, Italy, Irma Paulon is a versatile artist gifted with an inexhaustible curiosity who aims to conquer the material's secrets. Since the beginning of her pictorial journey in 2003, she has been incessantly interested in the techniques and forms of applied art through wood, glass, metal, Plexiglas, semi-precious stones, fabrics, and colored pigments. It is precisely the investigation of materials, sometimes even poor or recycled, that ignites her interest and the intrinsic desire to modify and assemble them with a very personal style, following the teachings of the great artisans of her land.

In 2015 she temporarily moved to Venice, the city of her soul, an inexhaustible source of inspiration. There she created installations at the Spezieria all'Ercole d'Oro, the Acqua Alta Library, and the Gardens of the Hotel Ca 'Nigra Lagoon Resort. She collaborated with the company La Perla Veneziana in Murano. After experimenting with recycled glass, she began studying one material that particularly fascinates her, cork, which she will later use in most of her works.

In 2019 she was included in the publication of the photographer Renato Vettorato entitled 'Donne Serenissime - Faces and Stories of the third millennium,' entirely dedicated to women. Since 2020, she has been working with heavy metals such as iron and steel, which have become an integral part of her work.
