A Rare Dutch Silver Tazza (Schotel), Lambert de Hasque, Dordrecht, 1665


shallow circular, divided into eight sloping lobes each chased with a single large stemmed flower, the center embossed with Ceres seated on two wheat sheaves, holding a sickle, all within auricular borders, on short rim foot, marked on rim with maker’s mark, city mark, crowned lion rampant, and date letter V, and with later control mark for Rotterdam circa 1795
