Two jade Replica Belts hell' beads, Western Han dynasty | 西漢 玉貝一對

See a set of twelve closely related jade ‘shell’ beads dated to the mid-Western Han dynasty in the Changsha Museum, Hunan province, each bead with holes on the two ends so that can be connected as a chain, published in Yang Boda ed., Zhongguo yuqi quanji [Complete collection of Chinese jades], Shijiazhuang, 2005, vol. 4, pl. 145. Compare further a pair of similar Western Han-dynasty beads in the Chaohu Museum, Anhui province, illustrated in Gu Fang, The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China, Beijing, 2005, vol. 6, p. 109.

青玉質，圓雕貝形，栩栩如生，兩端有穿。 

湖南省長沙市博物館藏一組十二件西漢中期玉貝，形制與本對如出一轍，兩端穿孔可連為一串，見楊伯達編，《中國玉器全集》，石家莊，2005年，卷4，圖版145。安徽省巢湖市博物館藏一對西漢玉貝與本件頗似，見古方，《中國出土玉器全集》，北京，2005年，卷6，頁109。
