An uncut copy of Caro's poetry (sheet L1_4 was printed on slightly smaller paper). This is variant B of this edition, with O4v blank (see lot 244 for details).
4to (248 x 170 mm). Italic type, 28 lines plus headline uncut. collation: *4 B-P4: 60 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device to title, woodcut initials. (Closed tears repaired, occasional light browning.)
binding: Nineteenth-century vellum over boards (260 x 177 mm), gilt border formed by scrolls, flat spine gilt with red morocco lettering pieces, marbled endpapers, deckle edges throughout. (Some soiling.)
