8vo (150 x 101 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: a-h⁸: 64 leaves. Ownership entries to preliminaries, numerous early annotations in red and brown ink. (Some dampstaining and soiling.)

binding: Contemporary Italian blind-stamped calf (157 x 105 mm), probably Bolognese, central stamp of a vase of flames within a double frame of a repeated leafy stamp, stubs from two pairs of ties. (Binding refurbished with repairs at corners and ends of spine, a few wormholes, joints lightly cracked.)
