The early owner of this volume, Johann Schenk von Grafenberg, physician in Freiburg im Breisgau, was the author of several medical works, in particular on what is now called neurolinguistics.
Folio (314 x 210 mm). Greek type, 54 lines plus headline. collation: *4 a-t8 v10 x-y8: 182 leaves (c3-6 misbound). Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso (otherwise blank). A few annotations in Latin in a German hand. (Occasional light foxing or damp-staining.)
binding: Sixteenth-century German blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards (333 x 220 mm), two clasps. (Binding slightly soiled, lacking one strap.)
