On New Year's Day 2020, the saline quality one finds in this terroir comes singing through, followed by tannic structure on the palate and convincing fruit and flavour, now harmonious and really well integrated. Later the same year, a tremendous colour - spectacular. As is the intense cassis and spiciness on the nose, with notes of black liquorice and plums. On the palate, the opulent richness is sensational, all velvet saturation that now covers the immense tannic profile. On this showing, one of the very best 1986s and what a tribute to the Prats ownership of the t.mes .
